Tipping bucket rain gauge

The instrument weighs less than half a kilogram and is suitable for mounting both on the mast and on the floor. The measurement is performed using the tipping bucket principle, which is factory calibrated and maintains an accuracy of <2% in rain up to 60 mm per hour. The steep angle of the appliance makes the water flow quickly and thus prevents the accumulation of debris, such as sand or dust. The water is collected through a funnel with an opening of 200 cm². It is equipped with an aluminum filter that can be easily removed for cleaning. All parts (except the buckets) are made of aluminum, which is anodized for extra protection and durability.

Precipitation sensor

The rain sensor is designed to work in all weather conditions and uses superior weight-based technology to measure the amount and intensity of rain, snow and hail. Developed in conjunction with industry-leading meteorological research, it uses a high-precision load cell and algorithms that compensate for wind, temperature and evaporation, providing the most accurate precipitation measurements over time.

Distrometers

Rain gauges that provide information on the type and amount of precipitation (rain, hail, snow, sleet, etc.) The device is a modern laser distrometers  for complete measurement of all types of precipitation. It captures both the size and velocity of falling particles, classifying them into one of 32 separate size and velocity classes. Raw data are used to calculate the type, amount, intensity and kinetic energy of precipitation, precipitation visibility and equivalent radar reflectivity

Micro rain radar

Micro Rain Radar (MRR) is a vertical guiding microwave profile for measuring rain speed, water content and droplet size distribution from close to the ground to several hundred meters. It is used for various applications, some of which are: melting layer monitoring, droplet size distribution, hydrology / precipitation studies, cloud physics, ship and platform rain measurements and many more.

Weather sensor

The sensor provides accurate visibility when measuring weather conditions in a compact and robust package, making it suitable for both general and offshore aviation applications.Every aspect of the sensor design is focused on measurement accuracy, reliability and durability. The open design of the sensor head allows the free passage of air for greater measurement accuracy, while the hard-coated, anodized immersion design provides excellent corrosion resistance, which is especially important in this type of application.
